Little, petit Gabriella!
It was such a joy to have Gabriella, her parents and her maternal grandmother in my studio! They were a pleasure to work with and we had such a wonderful time.
I had a number of setups ready for 13-day-old Gabriella, but she had other plans for the day. Despite a rather fussy day for her, we were able to get some very beautiful shots of her. She did not stay asleep very long, so I had to work fast to capture her still and serene. The parents were so patient, hopeful that we would at least get a few photos. And we did! I absolutely love the floral background with Gabriella’s soft, cream-colored outfit. Mom and Dad were so proud – and very happy to have her here.
We used many different pieces for Gabriella but my absolute favorite was the bonnet. It was so exquisite—so soft and petit!
Her teeny, tiny feet were so adorable! We were continually in awe of them during the entire shoot. They will never again be that
Gabriella has a beautiful bow-shaped mouth and long eyelashes. Her skin is very creamy and soft.
Best wishes to this family with their first little one! I hope to see you back in my studio, Gabriella!!
Newborn baby Harper Jean is absolutely adorable. This little gal was so sleepy (needed for perfect newborn photography posing) for her newborn photography debut , but her siblings were adorable and so gentle with her – the images came out great! The parents requested a bunny outfit for Harper Jean and, oh my, how precious she looked with her chubby cheeks. We were all obsessed with the photos and how cute they turned out.
The photographs with the siblings were a lot of fun to take as they were so attentive with baby Harper Jean. They truly love having a baby sister and wanted to capture as many photos as possible. This family is so precious, and I’m so glad I was able to capture the pure love emanating from each with the new addition to their family. I am so fortunate to be asked to document this new chapter in their lives as their family and child photographer. The image with Harper Jean in the vintage carriage with her siblings lovingly looking down on her, was a multi-composite image to get all of the pieces perfect. This beautiful, touching image was selected to grace the cover of a PB Parenting Magazine cover.
The parents were so thrilled to find out that I had a bunny costume to use to photograph Harper. We all giggled while taking the photos as Harper was just adorable with her chubby cheeks and beautiful skin. Capturing most of the images with natural tones to give a timeless, natural look was what I was going for in this shoot. This baby is pure cuteness!! Here are a few from this fun and cute newborn and family session, including one I was able to capture of big sister reading one of my books – enjoy!
I had an amazing time during our session with the handsome newborn Zain. He was 9 days old when he had his first photo shoot in our studio. Zain was such joy to shoot with his funny expressions and head full of hair. The day of our shoot, Zain was very restless, so needless to say, there was a lot of rocking of baby, great use of my “Shusher” gadget, and lots of laughter. Although we had a restless baby, we were able to get a full range of images of newborn Zain in various setups and wraps, clothing, etc, all provided by our studio. And, we did capture a few of him and his parents even though he would not go into a deep sleep. From this, were able to create a small gallery of black and white as well as color images of him and each parent and the new family as a whole that still look adorable and definitely captured the love of his enthralled and happy parents. And, we had a large gallery of beautiful images of this handsome little man named Zain. The family loves their album, their mini-accordion albums, 16×16 collage with quote, and other five art prints that resulted.
Welcome to the world, Zain!!
Zain’s father is the owner of a surf shop in Delray Beach, FL. He wanted to capture his passion with his newborn son, so he brought in one of his mini skateboards that represent most of the boards sold in his shop. Zain looked so precious in the photos on the skateboard. The family, especially the grandparents, were so thrilled that we were able to capture such beautiful and meaningful photos.
The parents really wanted to use the photos around their home as well as gifts for the family. So we tailored the session to the colors of their living room as well as Zain’s bedroom, which included grays and blues. They also chose great products to highlight the session including a 12 image collage with a beautiful quote that is on a stand-alone fine art print that can be framed. We also did a collage of 3 detailed images of Zain’s hands, feet and head that can be framed as a trio for his bedroom. Everything turned out absolutely stunning!
The grandparents and other family members loved their gifted mini-accordion albums with 12 images in each created by the parents of Zain. They can fit in a purse or be laid out standing on a table or wherever they desire. They also chose an album to showcase their favorite 40 images to be able to look back on this very special time in their lives over and over again. This is more important than digitals stored on a computer. I just loved the look on mom’s face when I met with her to hand over her product. What a precious family – I am honored to be their photographer!
This mama-to-be was glowing with happiness and joy for her maternity session. We had such a great time capturing that glow, along with her smile, the light in her eyes, and her baby bump! You could tell how excited and anxious she was anticipating the arrival of her first child, a girl. Jacqui chose to have her hair and makeup done in-house prior to her photoshoot. While getting pampered, we had so much fun going through our wide array of gowns and robes, to select those that would best fit her skin and hair color, her personality, and the looks we both were seeking to achieve. We knew we wanted to create images that were infused with the excitement and anticipation of Jacqui’s pregnancy and that enhanced her pregnant form. And, because we had just received a new selection of gowns, Jacqui was game for staying longer to be a model for gowns we wanted to showcase to potential clients. You, too, would receive this special treatment during your pre-consultation, with the opportunity to discuss your vision along with ours. As for the session itself, we incorporated different backlit setups to focus on the shape, shadows, as well as the emotions of her pregnancy. The end result: fabulous, awesome, timeless, awe-inspiring images that were chic and fresh, and that highlighted the most beautiful and glowing mother-to-be, Jacqui! Most importantly, we were able to capture the joy of Jacqui’s motherhood and the special bond between her and her unborn child.
As referred to above prior to our shoot with Jacqui, she came to the studio for her pre-consultation to discuss different options for hair and makeup, outfit options and changes and in-studio versus a location of her choice. Once we decided on holding her pregnancy session in the studio, we chose the outfits that would not only best convey a look of elegance, confidence, gracefulness, and beauty, but would highlight her baby bump. We believe we captured just that and more! with her amazing photos – she rocked the session! Jacqui may have arrived to the studio with a bit of trepidation, but she left with a large smile on her face and a belief that she was, indeed, a beautiful pregnant woman.
As you will see in the images here, the sheer blue gown was one of our favorites – absolutely stunning on Jacqui’s glowing skin and perfectly matching her blonde hair and light eyes. Next, we captured her in our flowing baby pink gown, which was a great fit on her baby belly! We were excited when Jacqui agreed to a partial nude shoot, so we used our sheer lace gown and robe to truly feature her belly. How beautiful are the images?? As you can see, each gown was sensational and fit her just right. and the final edited images are just gorgeous. We are ecstatic over her final gallery of images and the products chosen by Jacqui to showcase each image and allow her and her husband items in which to look back on and remember this special time in their life together—these include fine art prints and a mini-accordion album. Another option chosen by other clients is a 5×5 Signature album created in our studio.
We would love to offer the same special attention to you during your maternity shoot, too! Please contact us with any questions that you may have. And yes, we promise you can wear any of the amazing gowns and outfits that Jacqui wore…and, yes, you WILL look and feel beautiful!! 🙂
